Duo Super Special Gift Art sketch; Pencil, Paper, and Photoshop COLOR.

Teresa (aka The Quiet One and Jenna (aka Rurouni-Taki) are both the victims of a burglary! This coloring effort is a special birthday present to Teresa!!!

I had been thinking about coloring this one fairly soon, but when I learned that The Quiet One's b-day was approaching, I just had to speed things up and get this one done immediately. She deserves nothing less that a hogtie

The following is what I did for this colored version:

Teresa: I stole the color choices from a few of her earlier works that she herself did, so that I wouldn't pick any funky weird colors...I wanted to stay safe. I colored her eyes distinctly, and tried to match her hair highlights with her own works as well. I tried some skin shadowing and highlighting this time, and I hope it looks realistic and not elementary schoolish.

Jenna: I think the coloring really exposed the mistakes in my sketching for her, as I had to really do a lot of maintenance and cleanup on her to get the colors to work well. I know she doesn't wear a lot of skirts, but I seemed to have picked one in the original and I didn't want to alter it. I also tried more realistic flesh coloring with her. Gotta love the shirt! HA HA HA

Scene: I was able to bring the background to life more than I thought I could, with some use of textures for the first time, and some color choices I stole from around the house here, like the Maroon-White-Green rug. I know my shadows aren't quite right, and probably too much, but I guess I got on a roll. I think that I did a pretty good job on the computer monitor display, however.
