Request Anime/Manga DiD sketch; Pencil & Paper.

Honey, undercover as a foreign minor royal family member, has infiltrated a suspected kidnapping ring via an expensive party held by the potential masterminds. But something went wrong with her masquerade...upon searching for the "rest room" she got pulled into a dark room by a couple of strong figures and they summarily tied up and gagged her before she could HONEY FLASH! Now she's been dragged into the basement into a cell and tied to a poll, and tied as she is, she can't reach her choker nor any of the knots due to the tight ropes! Honey nonetheless struggles to get free to avoid becoming another kidnapping victim and fail her mission...what can she do now???

This is a request sketch from The Anoraknophobe. It was requested that I sketch a character out of their usual attire and into a ballroom style gown/dress, and then tied up. The narrative above was also suggested by him since I find sketching with a plot much easier than plain jane standalone ventures.

Here's the deal:

Honey Kisaragi: Honey, as Kisaragi, is one of the cutest DiD's in my opinion. I was intrigued by the idea of drawing her in a different costume, and I went along with it because I might as well find out now if I can sketch well enough for all of you to recognize them while not in their usual idiom. I didn't do anything special here, pretty much tried to copy the Honey style, and I had some dress references to choose from; the practice helped a lot. You can't see Honey's feet in this one due to the length of the dress per the request. Also, I wanted to personalize the outfit to her personality, and maybe that's why she got caught? Not a very clever disguise in my book

Scene: I really didn't know how to draw a dungeon. Thankfully, I chose a viewpoint where I didn't have to draw much. I found some cell door bar references and tinkered with the perspective until it looked good, and then I just figured I would "wing it" with the stones and chains/shackles. I thought about having a distant head/face taunting on the other side of the bars, but I only thought about it

I know I have slown way down due to the work season, but I still want to hear from all of you about this one; gimme a yell!
